I have a Nuvi 760 with the U.S map. I would like to travel to Mexico.
I can purchase the city nav. map for mexico on CD.
Question is, how do I add Mexico to my unit? Do I have to delete U.S.?
I am a newbee so please excuse my lack of knowledge.
You can buy Mexico maps from Garmin: http://www8.garmin.com/cartography/mapS=
ource/cityselectMexico.jsp,
but may be able to find a retailer selling the cd for less.
The easiest way to add Mexican maps to the 760 is to create a map file
in Mapsource (included with City Select Mexico) onto an SD card. Plug
the SD card into the 760. Then within the 760 (Tools, Settings, Map,
Map Info), you would select the Mexican maps. You do not have to
deselect US maps.

I just returned from Mexico where I used my Nuvi 650 and SD card. I
would recomment you get Mexico on the SD card to avoid any problems
with the maps on your unit.
