I have Mapsource 6.16.3 and am having some problems. With the 20102.1 map
version, I can see a street on the map, including its address when I hover
the mouse pointer along the street.

In one case, I can't see the street at all in the "Find" street list, and in
the other I can select it, but when I try to actually find the location I
get "The selected street is not valid in this map product..."

Any ideas as to what is going on here??

What really gets me is that I can successfully find both locations with the
same map on my Nuvi 780.

It's been a while since I've played with MapSource... Does it allow
the display of multiple map layers? Which map layer does the searching
happen on? All or just a selected one?

When you downloaded the new version, did you download it to both the
computer and the GPS device? Sounds to me like you downloaded it only to
the GPS.

I recently went back to the Garmin site when I got a new computer and
Garmin remembered me and allowed me to download the map to the new
computer, so I'd guess you could accomplish that as well.
