Thanks to all who helped me with my routing blues thread
CNNA 2010 is up and running and so far I am happy with Mapsource 6.15
Well...One minor problem.
When creating a Map Set, the "include route calculation data" check box
remains greyed out.
The 76csx is such a unit, no?
I had the unit plugged in via USB and on at the time.
(I did not actually send any maps to it at that time)
On the routing tab in edit>preferences I selected use auto routing.
Still nothing.
Ideas please??

"Include route calculation data" is not an option in the NT versions of City
Navigator. Route calculation data is automatically included by default.

That's comforting!
Thanks!
What makes NT different?

Better/tighter compression.

With what mapping?

If you are talking about that version of MetroGuide that you asked about
earlier, it is because that was sold to support autorouting only on
installs to PC's and not to support autorouting uploads to handhelds.

That particular mapping was sold two ways back then (and maybe under two
different names if I remember right). One was cheaper and supported
only the PC install for autorouting. The other, more expensive version
of the same mapping, autorouted under MapSource and also uploaded
autorouting data to handhelds.

The Metrowhizz software was (and still may be) available and that
provided a means of getting the version you have to upload the
autorouting data.

Yes, it is an autorouting unit. When it finds autorouting data included
in the mapping.

That setting only controls the behavior of routes on the mapping being
use in MapSource.
