Changes made from version 6.14.1 to 6.15.3:
a.. Fixed an issue where blank map tiles are left on the screen.
b.. Fixed an issue with redrawing the map after a detail level change.
c.. Enhanced the drawing of roads to better distinguish primary from
secondary roads.
d.. Added the ability to adjust symbol size of icons.
e.. Fixed the display of spot soundings in Marine maps.
f.. Fixed an issue with areas getting highlighted inadvertently.
g.. Fixed 'Move Waypoint', 'Insert Route Section', and 'Extend Route'
capabilities from right-click context menus.
h.. Fixed an issue with water regions getting clipped.
i.. Limited 'Nearest Features' to only displayed maps.
j.. Fixed overlapping copyright information for certain maps.
k.. Fixed the display of certain Marine icons in the 'Find Nearest Places'
dialog.
l.. Fixed an issue with improper amenities getting displayed for 'Exit
Properties'
m.. Modified the color used for bathymetric lines.
n.. Enhanced the look of dashed and dotted lines.
o.. Enhanced sizes of certain labels.
p.. Enhanced the look of road shield icons.
q.. Fixed an issue when using certain find operations.
r.. Fixed an issue where changing the font would result in no labels being
displayed.

The shortest answer is doing.

At last, it's become a workable program update.

Garmin - next time you're contemplating an update can I suggest you do
some testing before you release it; 6.14 sucked

Did they fix the super slow loading of graphics?

The program is still a slow pig. What most upsets me though is the
ridiculous symbol size for waypoints. I use MapSource mainly for
geocaching, and the chest symbol is displayed with such a huge size
that it obscures the map if many waypoints are plotted. The 6.15.3
change to allow modification of symbol size works only for POIs and
not for waypoints.

Some things in the program look simply stupid. For instance, if you
load about 500 waypoints, click on one and then hit "Select All" in
edit, MapSource takes 7 seconds to do that on my my 3.2 Ghz machine.
Using 6.13, it was almost instantaneous. Did Garmin write this
program is Java or Interpreted Basic? Did they forget how they used
to do it?

I am going to revert back to 6.13.
