Map viewer for Australia?

Does anyone know when Garmin will be releasing a viewer for CN Australia version
8? I'm still waiting for the upgrade I ordered months ago, and as there's now
only a one GPS update I want to be really sure it's worth having (the version 7
upgrade was not). It would appear that if I want to update my second unit, a
second upgrade does not do the job, according to the new rules, I'd have to buy
a second full copy, which I cannot justify to myself (it's only used for
bushwalking & bicycling)
