Hi,

I recently bought lifetime updates for my Nuvi 660. After I updated
the maps, I occasionally still get the screen, "Your maps are more
than one year outdated, contact us on how to update your maps" (or
something like that). as I start up. However, when I hook the 660 up
to the computer, it tells me that I have the latest version. Any
insights?

thanks..........I Goldberg

I think the message that you your maps are outdated comes up
automatically after a period such as 1 year, but perhaps there are no
new maps since you updated the 660?

The "Latest Map" screen is not accurate. Mine told me thta I had the
latest map (2010.10) when the update screen said that 2010.20 was the
latest. Garmin is more reliable than most web-based equipment, but it
is not perfect.
