tnx for the update -
That's why we asked about what version was really on the DVD.
When I did one of my updates last year,
there was not even an option for DVD - it was download only.
I actually had two media - one was the major yearly update via DVD,
and then the other was a download for an incremental.

Also - in the future... toss in a few line breaks.... easier to read...

| update as per the cd install update steps. When I acknowledge the
| message the installer closes without installing the update to my
| garmin unit. From the same cd I had no problem installing the updated
| NA maps for use with Map Source.

| over looked. Everything seems to be working fine. Map Source is
| A-OK. The latest garmin online communicator is installed. I can
| upload and download to the 755T from Map Source. I have an SD card

Hey Richard,
Got started flying A6 Intruders with the US Marines.
Then, SunJet International flying MD-80s.
Then, Kitty Hawk, on DC-9s and B-727s.
Been retired for almost 5 yrs.
Thanx for asking.
Good luck at Sunwing! Sun Jet did vacation charters. Kitty Hawk was
all freight.
