The problem does not occur when I turn off the Proximity Points - Speed
Cameras.

I had a similar problem after putting newer maps onto an SD card and
trying to use them. The 265 would be in navigation mode and get lost.
I finally figured out that I needed to go into the tools/system/maps and
turn off the original map by unchecking the box, and the new map worked
just fine afterwards.

It sounds like Garmin should be able to release a newer Firmware to fix
this specific problem.
And thanks you guys for useful information.

That's interersting, and thanks for sharing the information with us. My
new Nuvi 1490T has option to display speed limit but I don't know if it
comes with any Speed Camera and Red Light POIs or not.

I mean to report to Garmin and hoping that they may give you the *current*
version of map and hoping the newer map will solve the problem. And I do
hope that Garmin is nice enough to continue supporting their customer.
And I also mention about the FIRMWARE which you will have to use Web
Updater to check and install the newer Firmware *if* available. Also, I
haven't had problem with newer firmware but quite afew people report having
some issue with some newer version of firmware.
Other that that I can't think of anything at the moment.
