I was facing the same problem. Mapsource does not support standard
GPX 1.1 files. I tried several converter to solve this issue. My
favorite tool is KML Manager, it supports transforming GPX 1.1 and GPX
files for MapSource. The developer told me that he is using MapSource
6.5.
