I have a Nuvi 255W. I can use Where Am I to determine the Lat. and Long. of
my current position, then save it in Favorites. Is there a way to select a
Favorite location and display its coordinates?

I'm a long time GPS user and have not found a way to do what you want to
do from my recently acquired zumo 550.
The maddening part is that occasionally when I touch the map display it
shows me the coordinates of a lot/long location and offers to save it to
my favorites. But when I want to touch a spot on purpose and get the
coordinates I can seem to do it.
If I save a location as a Favorite, down load it to MapSource, see the
Favorites listed and waypoints and can look at the properties to get the
coords.
It *is* stupid, is it not?

I'm still addicted to my Garmin Quest ... slow, but routing with
(external) voice, downloadable topo maps, waterproof, shows LatLon,
shows LatLon of waypoints ... best unit ever, TO ME, and it was a
miserable commercial success.

I guess I own Garmin an apology, I found a couple of ways to get my
coordinates for my present position.
One is if you tap the symbol for your current location on the map
screen. That pops up a menu with the coordinates and an offer to save it.
Another way is if you press Where to? and then scroll down to and choose
Coordinates, you will see the coordinates for your current location there.
You can edit those coordinates to choose another lat/long location for
for the following choices.
When you choose Next you are at a screen where you can either Map, Save,
or Go! to the location.

That remains to one of the thing that cannot be done easily. As near as
I can tell you choices are to send to MapSource or a third party utility
that will read *.gpx files or to go to where the favorite is and then
tap your location symbol.
