Anyway to EASILY give feedback about database info ?
Is it not "their problem" and I should inform Navteq instead ?
Easy way to do so ?

Just back from a 6800 mile trip with 265T and found many places where info
was wrong - like:
I browsed to a store - drove there - to find an empty building, or
GPS showed 35mph and really 45mph limit: or 55 and it was really 70mph
gps said turn left - and I was on divided highway , or
I was CLOSE to gps info, but it had me looking for store on wrong side on
street- 1/2 mile away.
I was at a restaurant - that GPS didn't know about ....

lots of stuff like that and I could find no easy way to update my GPS nor to
inform Garmin of the inaccurancies.

I'm not trying to pick on them - just trying to help out - easily. So they
can update their info for all of us.

I could maybe use their "support url"
http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/home/support/searchsupport?src_url=http%3A//iqc.garmin.com/eCustomer/KODSelfService/request.do?create=kb%3Agarmin%26forward=escalate

but too tedious for one item at a time. And I'd need to enter coordinates
for each item in an email .... etc

I did find a link at navteq for map corrections:

That is a good choice for reporting things. Garmin does not, as far as
I know, update any of the map data or POI databases themselves. So if
you tell them and they want to do anything about it they would forward
the info to NavTeq. So if you report it to NavTeq you've whispered it
into the right ear.

The number and kinds of errors you are seeing are typical. Many people
have mistaken impressions and unrealistic expectations about the data in
GPS receivers. There are no perfect maps or phone books, how could
anyone expect electronic mapping to be much better?

It can be better only that it is possible to update more frequently (daily
can be done), but it will never be perfect.

It is possible, but perhaps not practical, to have a system where you plug
in the gps and it calls home for updates, just like your anti-virus software
does. While that assures your mapping data is the latest available, it does
not mean every problem has been reported and fixed.

What about routing errors, i.e., not taking the best, most direct or common
route from point A to point B (yeah, yeah-- I know about the
shortest/fastest/avoidances settings!)?

Who can you report them to?
