When I was driving to work today the map was showing the route, the "miles to
next turn" was displayed in the lower right corner, and speed was displayed
in the lower left.
On the way home, all was the same except that "Arrive" time replaced the
speed.
Note that this is not the "data display" (elapsed time & miles, trip
odometer, etc.) but the main map display.
How do I get the speed to display in the lower left corner again?
I'm sure this is "operator error" -- I just need to figure out how I slipped
up. I overlooked something...
Thanks.

Ah, you nailed it.
I was driving to work without having set a destination. On the way home I had
set "Home" as the destination.
Sure wish the speed was visible on the map always, or as an option...
Thanks!

Only way to achieve that is to make the run home a few times and try to
memorize the route so you don't have to set it to navigate.

Yeah--because people simply don't know the way home from work.
