Hi there

Love my Nuvi 310 but so far cannot figure out how to arrange the mp3
files I am loading onto it or my SD card.

No trouble loading them on, but it seems they show up wherever they
want. Looking at the Nuvi mp3 browse screen it would appear that there
are folders labelled Artist, Genre etc, and you could choose which you
want your particular mp3 loaded into. But so far I cannot find any sign
of these 'folders'? when the Nuvi is connected up per USB - I just see
the one folder maked 'mp3' on the Nuvi, (and the other Nuvi folders of
course) and a folder of the same name that I created on the SD card.

I noticed when I loaded a folder full of songs it showed up under
"Albums" - but that folder doesn't show up in any other categories - eg
I might like it to show up in the "Classical" category.

Anyone have ideas or knowledge in this area?

David

That's all you will see.

You need to edit the ID3V tags of each MP3. You can do this with WinAmp etc.
