Got the 530HCx's today

Got the 530HCx's today!!
But - the owner's manual is Really Bad!!! I have yet to find 1/10 of
the things that I knew from my 76 CS!!
I'm glad I read the negative reviewes about the thiknes and the rocker
switch - as in my mind neither is as bad as the reviewes made them out
to be.
It will fit in most of my coats pockets.
The Rocker switch is a pain - My finger will freeze out in the snow
- but I pretty much had to take my gloves off with the old 76 anyway!
Still can't find how to set it to record every 1 foot like the 76
did, best I have found so far is once every .01 miles ~52 feet - Oh
well. More Playing should figure that out and More!!

Well - It seems that it recognizes the whole 8gb of my mem cards.
Takes a Long Time to transfer 140 mb of maps o it, though lots of room
to have Lots of Maps!!
I was hopeing that it would show up as a storage device in windows and
thus it would be easy to get the 'tracks' recorded on the mem card
through Windows Explorer - but it looks like you have to take the mem
cards out to get the data on my computer; Too Bad.
Firmware update sugestion: Be able to record at different rates to
the Rino and to the Mem card so that I can get all of the data on the
card while recording less on the Rino so that I can 'Track Back' all
of the way for saftey reasons. (out in the Wilderness
Snowmobiling!! :-)
I'm sure that I saw several places that you could poll other Rino's
with just a push of one of the side buttons - Not the case. Its not
too bad to Poll, but since that is one of the main selling points of
these things it should be much easier!!
The manul Sucks!! The card stock Quick Guide is much better then
the manual!! But as is almost always the case - Manuals and Directions
don't help at all untill you already know what you are doing and thus
no longer need them! (c:
I'm still looking for a good in helmet speaker/mic system that can
does decent noise cancelation of an 800 cc 2 stroke snomo engine.

Duh - I found the 'USB Mass Storage"!!
