I use Google Earth to scout for locations. Im looking for a way to
send tagged places in Google Earth to my 60CSX unit.
Can this be done?
I save the locations as .kml files and use GPSBabel to convert them to
either .gpx or .gdb files that MapSource can read. They can then be sent to
the receiver. EasyGPS could also read the .gpx files and send them to the
unit.

There is a plugin for Google Maps, at least for MSIE, on the Garmin
site for "Send to GPS". Connect the compatible Garmin to the computer
via USB and you can then use that command to send the location to the
GPS. Maybe it works for Google Earth, too?
