Hi,

Would anyone have a recommendation for a store that shows(!) and sells
Garmin devices such as the Quest, 60csx, and Nuvi?

Before posting here, I've tried a few things of course... but: the
Garmin website comes up only with Staples, the outdoor and camping
stores that I know carry only the Vista, Forerunner, etc. lines and no
software, and the one or two NY stores that I spotted on pricegrabber
seem to be a one-man show without store.

Any pointers appreciated. Thanks,

Ray,
Try West Marine or Boat/US stores. Tho' the mapping software may be
marine oriented.

Good idea and apparently an OK store, judging from the web presence...
But they didn't have "my" units in stock.

I gave up and ordered online - comes free overnight and still saves me
$$. Too bad, I would have liked to try those devices in a good store and
pay a little extra.

Thanks anyway :)

You might check at Circuit City, I noticed that the one in my area had a
good assortment on display and they were powered up and with active
antennas. They had iWay, Garmin, Magellan, and Tom Tom models on display.
