Hi,
Garmin maps of Svalbard do exist! Garmin has just not told us. If you have a
Garmin MapSource WorldMap CD-ROM, you also have maps of Svalbard. The
quality of the maps is no better than of the other WorldMap maps. For an
introduction, look here:
http://home.online.no/~sigurdhu/WorldMap.htm
Links there will take you to:
http://home.online.no/~sigurdhu/WorldMap-Arctic.htm
Here details of file names and sizes are described plus a method for
transferring the Svalbard maps to a Garmin GPS receiver.
Enjoy.

Svalbard has been included on the Bluecharts Atlantic Cd-Rom for ages.

Yes, but they still don't have Santa Claus's house up at the north pole!
