No, it does not.

It is alleged that somebody claimed:

That would be part of the map data. Or you can add your own Custom
POIs.

If the PO bought the unit new and it did not come with CN NT NA V8, I
believe that Garmin will update it for free. When we bought our C320
it came with V6 (City Select) which Garmin updated for free to V7. I
think I had to ask for it. I have since paid for the upgrade to CN NT
NA V8 since the fee covered both my 2720 and her C320 and I figured it
was worth the $75 USD.

It seems like you didn't read the *NO MORE* free upgrade and NO MORE =
free
code for 2nd unit etc.. that someone passed the info here few weeks ago. =
And
from the info the new policy effects on JUNE 1st (4 days ago).

So, if it's true then you will need $150 for 2 units .. unless Garmin
still honor the old policy on Garmin bought before June 1st, 2007. Cuz
Garmin figure they remove the 2nd free because not many people use it (it
sounds so fishy)

Wow! You are right. I was not aware of the new policy.

So, here I sit with a 2720 that apparently has bugs (*) in the routing
S/W or perhaps the maps. It is a discontinued product so I don't
expect new features, but I can hope for bug fixes.

(*) Heading south from the far west Chicago 'burbs on Rte 47, it tries
to route me off Rte 47 just north of Dwight (and back on just before
Dwight.) If I ignore and remain on the highway, it successively
reduces time to destination each time it recalculates a new route.
Heading north on the same road, it tries to route me way east. At one
point (just past Dwight IIRC) it knocks 25 minutes off the estimated
arrival time. (After knocking a couple of minutes off previuos
reroutes.) So much for shortest time!

There is another spot in the Northern 'burbs where it turns me off a
road, does a loop and brings me back at the same intersection.

Both of these malfunctions leave me very wary of using the routing
anywhere I don't actually know where I'm going. I guess I better
report these before Garmin drops support and totally orphans my unit.
