Can't wait for the 305. It's about time Garmin came out with a true cycling
computer to rule them all! Cadence/HR/Altitude/GPS. November is too long to
wait.

Says it tracks reliably under tree cover and in canyons and, I gather
has a newer antenna or something!!!!

I noticed that . . . . .what IS a SiRF reciever?? Is it different than the
current antennas in say, the VistaC?

Hi,

Sirf is a brand of GPS receiver chipsets, usually used in GPS mouse
type receivers. SirfIII is WAY more sensitive (and 20 channel) than
any Garmin I know, including 76C/276C (which are the most sensitive
ones I know). I will love to see it, for its cycling features. Now, if
it could load calibrated raster maps *dream*
