New to Garmin POIs, just DL Garmin POI loader and made a few test .csv
and .gpx files to upload to my GPSMAP60csx.

After I upload the custom POIs the following is displayed on the 60csx:

"POI name"

Alarm Range: 1319ft
Alarm Speed unknown

I have tried everything possible to include comments about the POI in
the comment field, but the comments dont display. I even saved some
waypoints with comments in mapsource and saved them as a .gpx file and
uploaded, again comments didn't appear... please help.

I really don't need the Alarm Range and Alarm Speed, I would just like
to add info such as addresses, phone number, store hours, ect...

Thanks

Cago

Do you have version 2.3.1? If so, Garmin acknowledges a problem with the
proximity alert.

Try to get a copy of 2.2.1. That should solve it.
