I have an older streetpilot with the included navtec maps. I notice
that there are far too many businesses that are not listed in the
database (starbucks, walmarts etc). Although my maps are older, I
noticed many gaps in the newer maps that ship with the latest NUVI
devices.
Are their 3rd party U.S. POI databases that one can purchase that are
more comprehensive than the stock Navtec maps that come with the new
Garmin units?
Thanks

In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird,
people take prozac to make it normal.

Depending on how old the SP is, it may not be capable of loading POIs

No. And if you buy a whole new unit, the situation may not be much better.
POIs are a weak spot for all the GPS manufacturers.
