Is there any way to get to a screen that shows more accurate information
than "you have arrived at _____"? Thanks for your help.

Terry-

Although previous discussions about using a Nuvi for Geocaching decided
that other models might be better, there may be a technique you can use
that would improve it.

After "you have arrived at _____", you can then zoom-in on your
location. If your goal is marked as a favorite, it should appear as a
small flag with its name above it. The Nuvi sensitivity is good enough
for the map to show you about how far away it actually is, and show when
you are getting closer. In theory, you can walk right up to it.

The only problem then is the inherent error in GPS. The satellite view
will give you an estimated error, but you can't trust it. However that
is not unique to the Nuvi. This problem would be the same with most
other GPS units.
