My garmin nuvi 200 unit keeps displaying "Updating GPS firmware 1%"
and then in like 2 seconds it says "Update Complete" every 90 seconds
or so, It no longer obtains the signal from the satellites, I am at
the last available version from webupdater, also I have tried to
reboot and a master reboot. and my unit seems to be out of service,
its about a year and a half old, so no warranty is available from
garmin, does anyone have any idea how I might solve this little
problem?

It sounds as if you have an incomplete or corrupted update file on your
internal storage which the unit attempts to process on reboot.
Clean up the disks and try webupdater again.
