I am trying to locate a scrapped Garmin GPSMap Sounder 185 so I can
cannibalize the 13 pin connector on the back panel. The whole cable
assembly has the 13 pin connector and two flat ribbon cables with
connectors. I have a pin that broke off and GARMIN will not sell me a
replacement part because it is manufacturer discontinued. They did
provide me their internal part number and engineering diagram, but
without a "source" for the part, I'm out of luck.

I have a 185 in working order. I am considering upgrading to a color
unit, which would make the 185 trash. (I can't find any market on
eBay) Write me: "yellowspoon -at- verizon.net"
