Just bought a "newly overhauled" StreetPilot III and had an issue
updating the Street Navigator v6 which came with the unit.

I was flinching as I called Garmin 800 number. After 2 min of
navigating their telephone tree and a 30 min wait, I got a
very responsive, helpful rep. About 5 min on the phone
and a consultation with a supervisor, they fixed my problem
and thanked me for calling.

No blaming, shaming or "I'm sorry, we can't do that..."
Thanks Garmin!!

I'm a happy customer with a new gizmo!!!

Yep... Be prepared for a wait with Garmin but once through my experience has
been good.
