Hello,
I just bought a 60cx with only a low-detail map in it.
I started by updating the firmware to version 4.00
Then I bought City Navigator Europe NT as a download (full version)
I installed a 2GB SD card in the unit and connected it to my PC.
Entered MyGarmin and clicked "install map"
After finding the device I got the message: Incompatible device
Garmin tells that the map and the device are compatible.
Any hints ??

I only know the DVD Version, which installs using MapSource without a
problem on a 60CSx

You need to install City Navigator Europe NT on you PC. T
hen select the maps segments you wish to load on you GPS with Mapsource.
It takes a while to create the mapset(could be several hours depending on
you PC power and the size of the mapset.)
The file created will be gmapsupp.img. You need to transfer that file to
your SD card.
Mapsource will transfer the created mapset to your GPS' SD Card via the USB
cable which you will have connected.

Sorry. The map can not be transferred to the computer, only to the
device, so I can not use MapSource.
I will try Garmin support on monday.
