On my Garmin Nuvi 760 the satellite position display has a symbol on the
horizon line that moves erratically on the horizon line and has a red
dot in the center. It's not a numbered GPS satellite and it's not the
sun or moon. Anyone know what it is?

It is also on the 200 W Sat screen.

Sure
I talk about it in my article:
Go W, NW, N, NE, E, SE, S, SW! Young Man - Your Driving Direction
on page 4 of my

=2E..ADDITIONAL SECRET
On the n=FCvi Satellite Screen [Officially called: the GPS (Information)
Page] (on my 650, perhaps yours too) you will notice on the left side
where you have the satellite geo-mapping (Sky View) and sometimes the
icons for the sun and moon, there is another icon which is a small
black circle with a red dot. This icon identifies the direction you
are currently traveling -- even more accurately than the eight-only
directions that the Map Page offers....

How is the display accessed?
