Hi,
I have a Trimble GPS antenna, P/N 39265-50, with a connector that
mates perfectly with my GPSmap 60 antenna connector.
Can anyone tell me if this antenna would be compatible with this
receiver? I am afraid to power it up with this antenna connected :-)

An antenna used for RECEIVING is passive and either will work or
not... no harm done. Only an antenna used for TRANSMITTING can cause
harm if mismatched. Since GPS units only receive, you are safe to try
your antenna without fear of doing harm. Whether it will work better
or not is up to you to test.
