Frustrated

I can't get my Nuvi 350 to accept the address (only gives finkle rd
,may be ok) and won't give me anything on the name.Does your GPS give
you the directions with the name? Can you get it to give you Finkle Farm
Rd instead of Finkle?

Adirondack Camping Village offers campers an opportunity to enjoy the
great outdoors while having some of the comforts of home. Our rustic
mountain setting provides ample privacy to relax and enjoy life. Whether
its swimming in our heated pools, watching the nightly movie, or
roasting marshmallows around the campfire, Adirondack Camping Village
has something to offer everyone. Kids will especially enjoy our
playground, game-room and our daily hay-rides. Pets on a leash are
welcome.
We offer a variety of hook-ups to accommodate all types of campers: For
the campers who want it all in their 40 ft RV's we have 50-amp water,
electric, sewer, cable pull-through campsites. For the families or
couples who want to "rough it" in tents we offer no hook-up sites. We
also have everything in between to accommodate pop-ups, truck campers,
and any size pull-behind trailer (water, electric, sewer or cable) and
even tenters who want some amenities (water and electric).
2009 will be our 37th year in operation under the same management. We
are open Mid-May to Mid-September.

hey gramps - we don't really need the full page ad for your campground -
so.....
the maps basically show it as the same road...... with nothing else nearby.

I pulled up City Navigator 2008 in MapQuest, and it's Finkle Rd there.
Google Maps shows /both/ names, oddly enough. This is probably a problem
with whoever was the source of the map data, either Tele Atlas or NavTeq.

Ps56,I had already apologized for not C&P and only using the addy.My
problem is I couldn't get my Nuvi to accept the addy without making it
Finkle Rd instead of Farm rd.Also could not get it to find the place by
putting it in as nearby Lake George (came up no data).Place has been
there for years under the same name. Was trying to find out if it was
Garmin problem or just my Nuvi.Can't really navigate sites from Google
or net with webtv.
