Wouldn't it be great if Garmin made one with all the features and they
could be turned on or off whenever you choose!!!!!!!!

If we are gonna talk about what Garmin says about things people do'nt
like, then we would begin and end with something like

- The reason Garmin stops including the DVD and changes the policy allowing
the owners to install Map Data first on all Garmin GPS they own, then lower
to 2-3 units. And now NONE because most people don't like or don't care for
those.

- The newer design of Nuvi is ok, but Garmin has been removing some neat
features and adding more junks to the unit. IOW, newer doesn't always mean
better, more, or similar useful features of older model. And they should
improve the newer model not tricking customers (the current owners who seek
for better model).

Example, on the Nuvi 1490T Garmin improve the USB to standard (IOW you
don't need to use a special USB cable, and brightness won't change to TOO
DIM too see), but they screw up the Cradle and USB connection (you may need
to Google for more detail on this part alone).

And my car is broke I haven't had it fixed yet to check out the other
features of Nuvi 1490T comparing to the Nuvi-680. I did a quick test on
motorcycle and I can say that the anti-glare and the bightness do help quite
abit (still little hard to see at direct sun but much better than Nuvi-680
which is 99.9% useless).

I have 3 older StreetPilot models and still missing some of them neat
features that the newer Nuvi don't have.
