With Google Earth Plus I see it looks possible to import from your GPS
into Google Earth (GE), but I need it the other way round. Is it
possible by any means to export places and/or lines from Google Earth
into a Garmin GPS?
I suppose I could view the properties of the places in GE to get the
longitude and latitude and then enter those manually into MemoryMap
Navigator, plan a route/track, export to gpx/mmo and then upload to
the GPS, but it's a little convoluted, be nicer if it could be done
directly from GE..
Many thanks,
Duncan.
You can Export the placemarkers from GE into GPX format, then open it
from EasyGPS (free download from Internet) and transfer them to your
GPS.

Sorry, I did not remember the rather complex sequence I followed:
first save your placemarkers file as .kml in GE, then import it to
GPSTrack (www.gpstrack.com), upload it to your GPS and download it to
MapSource (my version is 6.12.3). It should also be possible to export
from GPSTrack as .gpx file and import it into MapSource, but for some
unknown reason, when opening such a file, MapSource crashes, while
another program like EasyGPS does not.
You can link your waypoints as routes either in GPSTrack (if you have
a map loaded) or in MapSource !
