Hi all,

Considering purchasing a Nuvi 350 (good proces at Sam's Club, by the way)
and was looking at the Garmin website. But I'm confused... Does the Nuvi
come with mapsource software, or do you have to buy that seperately?

Thanks,
Mark

From the Garmin Web site:

"nüvi 350
The European version contains full European mapping right off the shelf.
North American versions include pre-loaded City Navigator NT maps of the US,
Canada, and Puerto Rico."

MapSource is the program that controls the maps, not the maps themselves.
It comes with the map software and free updates can be had from the Garmin
web site. So, no, apparently there is nothing additional you need to buy in
the line of street navigation maps.

Real question is, I think, does it come with City Navigator? CN is the
maps; Mapsource is just the Win utility to load maps, etc.

OK Guys!

I went out and purchased the Nuvi and love it so far. Couldn't wait to get
it home so unpacked it in the Sam's Club parking lot and navigated home with
it! (I had downloaded the manual so had an idea what I was doing, but
pretty easy none the less.)

BUT... I don't see this Map Source "Win Utility" that Phil talked about
below... Am I missing something?

Thanks!

<snip>

Did you notice that you can add one (and only one) via point to your
route? About 26 other bells and whistles and they couldn't add multiple
destination routing?
