Nuvi has quasi dead reckoning. It will assume your same heading and speed
for 30 seconds.
I have a Nuvi 350 and I lose satttelites when I go through the tunnels in my
area. But, there are usually no turns to make in the tunnel and it picks up
the sattelites before I emerge.
Dead Reckoning isn't an issue for me.
