Is there an easier way to convert a track to a route without tracing the
track with the route tool in Mapsource?

I'm using MapSource 6.12.2 and when I right click on a track, a popup menu
appears with various options (New Waypoint, Begin Route, Begin Track, etc.)
. The only one that seems useful is Track Properties that displays details
of each track data point and only allow display type options such as Show
Profile, and Show on Map.
I've updated MapSource several times and I seem to recall an earlier version
that allowed me to actually edit the data points and maybe (I don't recall)
to convert a track to a route.

I get the same (limited)options as Broadback so does the TOPO map being used

make the difference? I'm using TOPO GB v2 with MapSource 6.12.2.
Other posters refer to the GPS used but should this make any difference when
I'm trying to convert a track to a route using the pc? Does the program
change for different GPS's?
I'm using an eTrex Vista CX & it does allow changing tracks to Routes using
Memory Map Products.

What is the GPS make and model? That is a factor here. My 76Cx will

convert saved tracks to routes.
