We're taking my hand held to UK this fall, mostly London area with a
possible trip to Paris. I can get the City Navigator Europe map set for $150
or City Navigator UK and City Navigator France for $100 each. Is there a
difference in the detail level?

Thank you

I also wondered a similar thing. With my Nuvi 255W (or whatever) we went
to France, Italy and Holland. SO I bought the "Garmin Europe Citinavigator
NT 2011" on Ebay for $80. Worked fine with enough road detail for me. 10-
year-old granddaughter was a great "voice of the tomtom" in the back seat,
she helped a lot, as did spouse in the front passenger seat pointing out
the roadsigns.

All was fun until I broke my leg in Harderwijk ... But that was almost 4
weeks ago.

Ok let me get this straight, I have a Nuvi 255W USA
I am going to Ireland in November so I bought the City Naviagtor
I noticed it is nothing more than a 1 gig mirc card to be installed
once I install the disk will it have any effect on the USA maps?
Or do I simply remove the UK disk and the USA maps appear?

No effect on the installed USA maps. As long as you are in the US you will
see the US maps. When you come to Europe you will see the European maps. You
can have more than one map in your unit at any time.

To see the European maps before you get to Europe, just search for an
European city and choose to view the map. In simulation mode you can also
set position some where in Europe.
