Thanks for all the helpful replies i've been getting form this group.
I've also got another question:
I hit mark on my 60csx because i want to manually enter lat/long for a
waypoint. My current waypoint only has 2 degree figures ( as in 50
degrees, 40 degrees, etc). If i want to enter a lat with 3 degrees
(say 115) do i have to manually move the pointer on the map to a
position with 3 degree figures and then press the mark button? I can't
do this manually?

No. A latitude of more than 90 degrees is impossible!
Latitude is 0 degrees at the equator, up to 90 at the North or South poles.
See the Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latitude
If you mean actually mean longitude, you should be able to enter that on
the Garmin. eg on my eTrex it displays the longitude as 3 figures, eg
004 degrees, so you can change that to 115 etc. I assume the 60csx is
similar.
