If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
For those of you who got this to work: I connected my Nuvi, entered
serial number and "purchased" code, then received a message that said
"Successfully unlocked map(s) for device". So now what? Where's the
map update? How do I download it? Any help will be appreciated.

can you point us to an Amazon URL for what & how you purchased this
upgrade..

The Garmin website, specifically the "myGarmin" section linked to on the
top right of the main web page, will take care of it, once you've
downloaded the browser plug-in and taken care of all that stuff that the
website will walk you through.
