If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I believe the c550 was just released. The advanced features, like voice
dialing your cell, and lack of published MSRP and reviews seems to indicate
that.

What I do not like is the flip up antenna because I can't stick in my pocket
or its pouch and leave it on and if you forget to flip it before you turn on
the unit it seems to never get a sat lock so I end up turning the unit off,
flip it up, and then turn it on again. Other than that it works fine as a
very simple GPS. Not having a proper detour feature, which would allow you
to view all turns in advance and veto them, is another dislike.

My 350 doesn't have any trouble acquiring satellites after flipping out the
antenna after I've powered the unit on.
I think he implied that. Once a lock has been had less sensitivity can be
tolertaed.
