I'll guarantee they won't match Customer Service.Garmin is the BEST for
that.

Hi, I have not really compared customer service yet but I'll tell you I
tried to find a link where I could email a pre-sales question to Garmin but
was unsuccessful. Seems they want to talk to you if you are a customer but
if not they rather you go find a dealer to make your first selection. Or did
I missed it?

Thanks!

I have had a 350 for over a year now. Can you please explain what a
multi-point route is? Is that making your own route with waypoints?

I upgraded to the latest map over the weekend. Now when I am going
home it no longer wants to take me through a condo/rental complex
and routes me on the proper streets. So new maps do more than just
add the latest streets.

And for the OP... There really still is nothing better than a 350. Consumer
Reports *STILL* has it as a CR best buy.

I am researching both the SreetPilot c550 and the Nuvi 360. Never
having had a GPS, I'm wondering, is it really ready to use right out of
the box? Best Buy claims they will "set it up" free. Does it need a
professional set up?
I spent a good deal of time today with a young man at Office Depot who
was unable to show me the basics on any of the GPS navigators. I'd seen
very good prices on both units from Amazon. Would appreciate any
advice.
Simplicity is key.

I can't speak on either of those units. The only experience I have is
with a Nuvi 750. My 750 didn't require any setup except to enter my
home location but it would work without it. Take it out of the box,
turn it on and let it see the sky. It should be ready to use in 30
seconds or so. The battery will need to be charged but that can
happen while it's plugged in to your car's cigar lighter.

Don't buy it from Best Buy. Costco, Sam's Club, E-bay or Amazon all
have better prices. I don't know about Office Depot's prices but
don't buy it from a salesman who can't demo the unit.
