In MapSource versions through 6.13.7 it was possible to make a back-up copy
of your unlock code(s). The whole unlock procedure has changed beginning
with version 6.14.1. Does anyone know of a way to back-up the unlock codes,
or has Garmin dropped this from the application?

Garmin's version of Hutber's Law - "improvement means deterioration".

Part of the MapSource installation is: UnlockWizard.
(Executable: 'C:\Garmin\UnlockWizard.exe'.)

So it's only removed from the MapSource Utilities menu, but it still exists.

You can also find it on the garmin "my garmin" website at
https://my.garmin.com/mygarmin/customers/myGarminHome.faces
Assuming of course you've registered your init and software.
