Just replaced a Nuvi 255 witn a 1450 and have a strange problem. In my
truck I have 2 12 volt power outlets. The new unit will not work in the
one the old unit worked in but will work in the other one.
The problem is that when the 1450 is plugged into the one it works in it
blocks one of the cup holders, otherwise I'd just use that one.
Does anyone have any idea why this might be true?

My idea is something wrong with the connector, and it doesn't sound right
as the way you describe.
1. If it really happen that way then there must be a ghost or alien lives in
your car
2. If it happens once awhile and happen to both GPSes then check the
connectors.
And you should be more answer than any of us can come up with more wild
guesses.
