If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Do it my way. ;-) I had to do the same thing with my 350. Go to View Map
and "scroll" around until you locate the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge on the
screen. Keep hitting the + button on the screen until the bridge is seen "up
close" at least to the point where the eastbound and westbound lanes
separate. If you want directions to head west over the bridge, tap the
westbound section, creating a little square with an arrow pointing to it,
and Save it to your Favorites. (If your 660 is like my 350, "Save" will be
one of the options presented to you after you've tapped the screen to create
the marker.) It should already have a name such as "Verrazano Bridge West,"
or "I-278 West.," so you shouldn't have to make one up.

Thanks. That did it.

Hi
You should take a look at my solution for that.
http://vimeo.com/10023233
or
The clips are in French Canadian but it is easy to follow.
I give a very simple POI for example and no address exists for a peer.
This solution works for me and many others.
Greetings
JR

I like to actually find the location in Google Earth and then enter
the lat/long in to my 765T. Then I know for sure I'm dead on.

Which datum are you using for that?

Judging by this particular thread, many people in this group spent their
school years taking illogical, pointless orders from morons and having
their will to live systematically crushed. And people say school doesn't
prepare kids for the real world. -- Rayner, in the Monastery
